It’s launch week for Experience Christmas!
Don’t miss out on the fun we’ve been having so far . . .
- Monday – free sales, discounts, and a five-book giveaway (yay!)
- Tuesday – what is Experience Christmas and who is it for?
- Wednesday – why I wrote Experience Christmas
Today I’d like to give you a sneak peak into the pages of the book and share two chapter excerpts with you.
I wrote Experience Christmas with the hope of creating a daily Christmas experience that engages your heart through song, Scripture, reflection, and prayer. Devotions are divided into four weeks intended to be read every day for the first twenty-five days of December. Each day begins with a Scripture and devotional thought followed by prompts to listen to a specific Christmas song, consider spiritual questions, and pray for your heart, your day, and your experience of Christmas.

Sprinkled throughout the devotional are fictionalized vignettes highlighting some of the major characters of the Christmas story. Mary, Joseph, Elizabeth, the shepherds, and the wise men were all real people, and their experience of the first Christmas unfolded in real time, much like the events of our own lives. Before these people were revered as holy characters in the divine narrative, they were ordinary people who experienced reality with honest emotions. Just like us.
