I started blogging at the end of 2009 as a stay-at-home mom desperately in need of a creative outlet. What emerged from that experiment has turned into an incredible journey of self-discovery, unlocking new passions in my heart and recovering ones I’d forgotten along the way.
Fast forward to today – I’m now a homeschooling boy mom of three, working from home as an author, blogger, and freelance writer. Life is chaotic for sure, but it’s also more beautiful than I could have ever imagined it being. All thanks be to God.
If this is your first time visiting, I’d love for you to get to know me better. You can start by reading why We Chose Family, which should pretty much get you up to speed on our story over the last eight years. If you’ve got a lot of time you can read more about how I met my husband, the births of our three kids, and the journey of faith I’ve been on by visiting the Telling My Story page.
What this space is about
There are three core values that motivate my life and my writing – my relationship with Christ, my relationship with family, and my love of creative expression. Most of the content you find here will fall into one of these three categories – faith, family, or creative ministry. Each has a dedicated page on this site with collections of my favorite and most popular posts.
If you’ve stopped by because you picked up one of my books or resources, you might be interested in seeing others I’ve created. Past and present book projects can be found here.
I would love to connect with you.
Here are a few ways how:
- Contact me by email anytime through this site, or on any of the major social media platforms.
- Sign up to receive my e-newsletter for site, post, and project updates.
- Join me for the Coffee Monologues to hear what’s going on in my world, and share what’s going on in yours.
Thanks for stopping by!
I’m so glad you’re here. 🙂
